Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about furniture refinishing in Irving.
How much does furniture refinishing cost in Irving?
Refinishing jobs start around $600 and rise with the size and condition of the piece. A single dining chair is $275 to $375, a dresser or hutch $1,200 to $2,200, and a full dining set $2,500 to $4,000. The free online photo estimate turns that into an actual number.
My furniture is from the 1980s and I think it is veneer. Is it refinishable?
Very likely. We refinish solid wood and pieces built on particleboard or MDF with a real wood veneer, which describes a large share of furniture from the Las Colinas and Valley Ranch building years. Plastic laminate over particleboard is the one we cannot refinish, and photos tell us which you have.
Can you match a new piece to furniture I already own?
Yes. Color matching is done on the actual piece with test passes until it sits right beside what you have, not signed off from a sample board alone. Three to six passes is normal. We cannot go lighter than the natural wood, but darker or a different tone is straightforward.
How long does it take and do you pick up in Irving?
Standard refinishing runs 5 to 6 weeks, single pieces 4 to 6. We are in Carrollton, roughly 20 to 25 minutes from Valley Ranch and Las Colinas and closer to 35 from south Irving. Pickup and delivery starts at $250 round trip and is quoted up front, or you can drop off.
