Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about furniture refinishing in Fort Worth.
How much does furniture refinishing cost in Fort Worth?
Refinishing jobs start around $600 and rise with the size and condition of the piece. A single dining chair runs $275 to $375, a dresser or hutch $1,200 to $2,200, and a full dining set $2,500 to $4,000. Send photos through the free online estimate for a real number.
My piece is an antique with a very old finish. How do you handle those?
We strip it and refinish in a modern lacquer, which gives you a surface that stands up to heat, water and daily use. We do not offer French polish. It is a beautiful finish and a fragile one, and it is not what we would put on a piece you intend to actually use.
Can you match the color to woodwork or other pieces in my house?
Yes. Color matching happens on the actual piece, with test passes until it reads correctly next to what you have, which usually takes three to six passes. The one limit worth knowing up front is that we cannot stain a piece lighter than its natural wood.
Fort Worth is a long way from Carrollton. Is that a problem?
Not at all, it just needs planning. We are about 40 miles east, roughly an hour depending on traffic. Pickup and delivery is available across DFW starting at $250 round trip, quoted by location and job size and confirmed before anything moves. Refinishing then runs 5 to 6 weeks.
