How much does it cost to reupholster a sofa?

For a three-seat sofa, labor starts around $1,500 and fabric typically adds roughly another $1,200, so a complete job starts near $2,500. A club or wingback chair runs $650 to $900 in labor plus roughly $700 in fabric. Dining chair seats come in considerably lower per piece.

Do you reupholster hotel and commercial seating downtown?

Yes, including lobby chairs, banquettes and office seating. On commercial jobs we do not use any fabric rated under 100,000 rubs, because that seating gets far more use than anything in a home.

How do I pick a fabric?

You choose from our Greenhouse Fabrics swatch books, or bring your own material (a $35 per yard COM fee applies). We order rather than stock bolts, so selected fabric takes about a week to arrive. For a regular-use sofa we look for 30,000 rubs or higher.

How long will my piece be gone?

Reupholstery runs 6 to 12 weeks depending on the shop’s workload. Fabric selection and the deposit happen before pickup, so the material is waiting when your piece arrives. We are about 30 minutes north of downtown, and pickup and delivery starts at $250 round trip.
