Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about furniture refinishing in Downtown Dallas.
How much does furniture refinishing cost in Downtown Dallas?
Refinishing starts around $600 and climbs with the size and condition of the piece. A single dining chair runs $275 to $375, a nightstand starts at $650, and a dresser or hutch runs $1,200 to $2,200. Photos through the free online estimate get you a real number.
I moved into a downtown loft with less space. Is my older furniture worth refinishing?
Often, yes. Solid wood and pieces with a real wood veneer are usually worth restoring, and when a smaller home means keeping only a few pieces, the ones you keep tend to be the ones with history. Sentimental value counts alongside the dollars, so send photos and we will give you an honest read.
Can you match the finish to the rest of my furniture?
Yes. We color-match on the actual piece, applying test passes until it sits right next to what you already own, rather than signing off on a sample board. Three to six passes is normal. The one limit is that we cannot stain lighter than the natural wood.
How long does it take, and do you pick up downtown?
Standard refinishing runs 5 to 6 weeks. Our Carrollton shop is about 21 miles north, roughly 30 minutes, and pickup and delivery starts at $250 round trip, quoted up front in your estimate. You are always welcome to drop off instead.
