Kitchen Cabinets
A great many Irving kitchens date to the Las Colinas and Valley Ranch building years between 1970 and 1999, old enough that the color reads dated and new enough that the boxes are still completely sound.
Sometimes we just want a change, and new kitchen cabinets can be very expensive. We love giving our guys an excuse to leave the building and we’ll come out to your home to give your kitchen a whole new look! Maybe your kitchen cabinets are too light, and you want them darker. Or, maybe they need to be updated? A new stain, some new hardware, and you have yourself an amazing transformation! Which ever kitchen cabinet refinishing look you are going for, we know you will be pleased!

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about furniture refinishing in Irving.
Do you refinish cabinets in my home?
Yes. The boxes are refinished in place, usually 1 to 2 days of in-home work, and the doors and drawer fronts come back to our shop for stripping, color and a durable finish. A whole-kitchen job typically finishes in about two weeks.
How do I know if my cabinets can be refinished?
Solid wood and real-wood-veneer cabinets refinish well, and that covers most quality cabinetry from the 1970s onward. Plastic laminate or thermofoil over particleboard cannot be refinished. Send photos, including one of a door edge, and we will tell you which you have.
Can you lighten a dark 1990s kitchen?
We can change the tone, go darker, or move you to paint, plus antique, faux, whitewash and pickling looks in sheens from matte to satin. We cannot stain lighter than the natural wood, so a genuinely lighter kitchen generally means paint rather than stain.
What about a bathroom vanity or a laundry room?
Those are good candidates and often a fast job compared to a full kitchen. Bath cabinets take the same in-home box work and shop finishing on the doors, and they are a low-risk way to see how a color reads in your house before committing the kitchen.
