Can you refinish furniture that is veneer over particleboard or MDF?
Yes, as long as the surface is real wood veneer. That covers a big share of what we refinish. Laminate (a plastic surface) over particleboard is not something we can refinish, so send photos and we will tell you which you have.
Can you match the finish to my other pieces?
Yes. We match on the actual piece with test passes, usually three to six, until it blends with the rest of your room. We cannot stain lighter than the natural wood, but darker or a warmer or cooler tone is straightforward.
How long does it take, and can you pick up in Lewisville?
Standard refinishing runs about 5 to 6 weeks, single pieces 4 to 6. Lewisville is right next door to our Carrollton shop, about 5 to 20 minutes depending on where you are, so you can drop off or schedule pickup and delivery from $250 round trip.
