Kitchen Cabinets

A lot of Plano kitchens date to the city’s growth in the 1980s and 1990s, and many still have well-built wood cabinets wearing a tone that has not aged as well as the boxes underneath.

Sometimes we just want a change, and new kitchen cabinets can be very expensive. We love giving our guys an excuse to leave the building and we’ll come out to your home to give your kitchen a whole new look! Maybe your kitchen cabinets are too light, and you want them darker. Or, maybe they need to be updated? A new stain, some new hardware, and you have yourself an amazing transformation! Which ever kitchen cabinet refinishing look you are going for, we know you will be pleased!

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about furniture refinishing in Plano.

How does in-home cabinet refinishing work?

The cabinet boxes are refinished in place, usually 1 to 2 days of work in your home, and the doors and drawer fronts come to our shop for stripping, color and finish. Whole-kitchen jobs typically wrap in about two weeks.

Can you update the honey oak cabinets in my Plano kitchen?

Yes. We can go darker, shift the tone, or move to paint, plus antique, faux, whitewash and pickling looks in sheens from matte to satin. We cannot stain lighter than the natural wood, so a truly light kitchen usually means paint.

Will refinishing work on my cabinets?

It works on solid wood and real-wood-veneer cabinets. Plastic laminate or thermofoil over particleboard cannot be refinished, so send photos and we will tell you what you have.

What does cabinet refinishing cost?

It depends on the number of doors and drawers and the finish, so every kitchen gets its own detailed estimate. It costs a fraction of new cabinets and skips the demolition.
