Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about furniture refinishing in Frisco.
Is newer veneer furniture worth refinishing?
Usually, yes. Particleboard or MDF with a real wood veneer refinishes well and makes up a big share of the work we do. The exception is plastic laminate over particleboard, which cannot be refinished. Send photos and we will tell you which one you have.
How much does furniture refinishing cost in Frisco?
Refinishing starts around $600. A single dining chair runs $275 to $375, a nightstand starts at $650, a dresser or hutch $1,200 to $2,200, and a full dining set $2,500 to $4,000. The free online estimate gives you a real number from photos.
Can you change the color to match a new room?
Yes. We color-match on the actual piece, applying test passes until it sits right with your other furniture, rather than relying on a sample board. You can go darker or shift the tone, but we cannot stain lighter than the natural wood.
How long does it take, and do you pick up in Frisco?
Standard refinishing runs 5 to 6 weeks. Our Carrollton shop is about 15 minutes south of most of Frisco, so drop-off is easy, and pickup and delivery is available starting at $250 round trip.
