What does it cost to reupholster a sofa?

For a three-seat sofa, labor starts around $1,500 and fabric typically adds roughly another $1,200, so a complete job starts at about $2,500. A club or wingback chair runs $650 to $900 in labor plus roughly $700 in fabric. Dining chair seats are considerably less per piece.

I have an old chair with a good frame and terrible upholstery. Worth doing?

Frequently yes. Frames from the bungalow and Tudor era are usually better made than what the same money buys new, and if the exposed wood needs work we can repair and refinish it in the same shop before it goes to the upholstery bench.

Do you reupholster restaurant and commercial seating?

Yes, booths, banquettes, lobby and guest seating included, with volume pricing at 10 pieces or more. On commercial work we will not use fabric rated under 100,000 double rubs, because a lighter fabric simply will not last in a dining room.

How does fabric selection work from Fort Worth?

You choose from our swatch books rather than an in-store roll inventory, and the selected fabric takes about a week to arrive. Fabric choice and the deposit happen before pickup so nothing waits on material. Reupholstery then runs 6 to 12 weeks depending on the shop’s workload.
