What does it cost to reupholster a sofa in Irving?
On a three-seat sofa, labor starts around $1,500 and fabric typically adds roughly another $1,200, so a complete job starts at about $2,500. A club or wingback chair runs $650 to $900 in labor plus roughly $700 in fabric.
Do you do commercial reupholstery for hotels and offices?
Yes. Lobby seating, guest room chairs, banquettes and restaurant booths are regular work, and Irving’s convention and corporate base keeps it steady. On commercial jobs we do not use fabric rated under 100,000 double rubs, because anything less will not survive the traffic.
Can I supply my own fabric?
Yes. Customer’s own material carries a $35 per yard fee. Otherwise you choose from our swatch books and we order it, which takes about a week to arrive. For a regular-use sofa we look for 30,000 rubs or higher, and 50,000 or higher for a busy family room.
What is the order of operations, and how long does it take?
Fabric selection and the deposit come first so the material is already at the shop when your piece arrives. Reupholstery then runs 6 to 12 weeks depending on the workload at the time.
