Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about furniture refinishing in Frisco.
What fabric holds up in a busy Frisco family room?
For a regular-use sofa we look for 30,000 rubs or higher, and 50,000 or higher for a family room that gets kids, pets and daily use. Performance fabrics like Sunbrella or Crypton are good examples of what stands up to that.
How much does it cost to reupholster a sofa?
For a three-seat sofa, labor starts around $1,500 and fabric typically adds roughly another $1,200, so a complete job starts near $2,500. A club or wingback chair runs $650 to $900 in labor plus roughly $700 in fabric.
Where do I choose fabric?
From our Greenhouse Fabrics swatch books, or you can supply your own (a $35 per yard COM fee applies). We order rather than stock bolts, so fabric takes about a week to arrive, and selection plus the deposit happen before pickup so it is here when we start.
How long does reupholstery take?
Typically 6 to 12 weeks depending on the shop’s workload at the time. Frisco is about 15 minutes from our Carrollton shop, and pickup and delivery starts at $250 round trip.
