Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about furniture refinishing in Fort Worth.
Can you restore teak that has gone gray?
Yes. We clean, sand and reseal teak, finishing in either a water-based polyurethane or a hybrid wood oil depending on the look you want. Outdoor teak work runs about 4 to 6 weeks.
What about metal patio furniture?
Powder coating, which is the only service we offer on outdoor metal. The frames are sandblasted back to bare metal and powder coated for a hard, baked-on finish that holds up far better than paint. There is a $650 minimum, and turnaround is 8 to 10 weeks, or 10 to 12 in peak summer.
Can you make new cushions for a porch or patio set?
Yes, built with outdoor-rated foam and fade-resistant Sunbrella fabric. Restaurant and bar patios get the same construction with commercial-grade fabric rated at 100,000 double rubs or better.
When should a Fort Worth customer book patio work?
Late fall and winter. Spring is our busiest patio stretch and powder coating stretches to 10 to 12 weeks in peak summer, so booking early is how a set gets home before you want it. We are about 40 miles east in Carrollton, with pickup and delivery from $250 round trip, quoted by location and job size.
