For a three-seat sofa, labor starts around $1,500 and fabric typically adds roughly another $1,200, so complete jobs start at about $2,500. A club or wingback chair is $650 to $900 in labor plus roughly $700 in fabric.
When do I pick fabric?
Before the piece comes in. You choose from our Greenhouse Fabrics swatch books (or supply your own for a $35 per yard COM fee), and the order goes in with your deposit. It takes about a week to arrive, so it is waiting at the shop when your piece gets here.
What fabric should I choose for a family sofa?
For regular use we recommend 30,000 Martindale rubs or more, and 50,000 or more for a high-traffic family room. For office and other commercial seating we do not use anything under 100,000.
How long will my reupholstery take?
Typically 6 to 12 weeks depending on the shop’s workload. Since Lewisville borders Carrollton, dropping off is easy, or pickup and delivery runs from $250 round trip.
