Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about furniture refinishing in Lakewood.
What does furniture repair cost in Lakewood?
Basic repairs start at our $125 shop minimum and go up depending on what is broken. Photos through the free online estimate let us tell you what the repair involves before you commit.
My dining chairs are loose at every joint. Can they be saved?
Usually, yes. We take the joints apart, clean out the old glue, replace worn dowels and re-glue so the chair is solid again. On a set it is often worth doing every chair at once so they wear evenly.
Do you replace cane seats?
Yes, cane and rush seats are regular work for us. Wicker and rattan are outside our scope, so a close-up photo helps confirm which one you have.
Can you fix a gouge in the top of my sideboard?
We fill deep gouges with a two-part epoxy on many parts of a piece, but table and dresser tops are always refinished in full rather than spot-treated, so the top comes out as one even surface.
